The Old Brewhouse is a stones throw from the quayside in Dittisham.
This lovely Grade 2 Listed cottage (believed to be some 200 years old) has recently been totally refurbished to an extremely high standard, retaining lots of the original features, at the same time as being equipped and furnished in a bright, modern and contemporary style. The cottage sleeps up to four and has river views through the east facing C19 Gothic leaded light windows in the sitting room and master bedroom.
Through bespoke front door into a hallway leading to a kitchen / dining room, dining table and chairs, LCD tv and DVD, broadband internet access, Bose Ipod docking station. Integrated fridge with ice box, washing machine / tumble dryer, dishwasher, electric oven and halogen hob, with handcrafted oak worktop and shelves over.
Downstairs bathroom with contemporary bath with shower over, Roca WC, basin and heated chrome towel rail. The whole of the ground floor has sandstone flooring.
Upstairs to the first floor and sitting room (off landing) with east and west river views, painted beams, seating (sofa bed as an alternative to the bunk beds), Gothic window. Further bedroom offering 2 bunks and vaulted ceiling. Upstairs to the second floor where there is a double bedroom with vaulted ceiling (with Velux roof windows) and exposed roof trusses. River views through arched Gothic window, ensuite bathroom with bath, Roca WC and basin.
Outside there is a small walled courtyard with sandstone paving, pebble margin, garden furniture, barbeque, bollard lighting, small power and hot and cold shower- ideal for washing wetsuits and children.
